Short version
≈ 90 words, for partner tables and letters of intent

EXPERANOS (Greece, SME, PIC 885333163) is a deep-tech engineering company specialising in privacy-preserving AI (federated learning, homomorphic encryption, zero-knowledge machine learning), edge computer vision, autonomous robotics (ROS 2) and generative AI systems. EXPERANOS acts as a technology provider and pilot integrator in European R&I projects, advancing consortium technologies from TRL 4 to TRL 7–8 through containerised, documented and GDPR-compliant software components deployed in operational environments.

Full version
≈ 220 words, for Part B section 4 "Description of the participants"

EXPERANOS (Greece) is a private for-profit SME (PIC 885333163) providing applied artificial-intelligence engineering to European research and industry. The company's core mission is to industrialise research outputs: taking algorithms validated in the laboratory (TRL 4) and delivering them as robust, secure, containerised systems demonstrated in operational environments (TRL 7–8).

EXPERANOS contributes expertise across six complementary domains: (i) privacy-preserving machine learning, including cross-institution federated learning, fully homomorphic encryption (FHE), zero-knowledge machine learning (ZKML), secure multi-party computation and differential privacy for GDPR-critical data; (ii) edge computer vision, with real-time detection, tracking and pose estimation optimised for NVIDIA Jetson and TensorRT; (iii) autonomous robotics based on ROS 2, covering robotic manipulation, autonomous mobile robots and collaborative cells; (iv) generative AI, including sovereign retrieval-augmented generation, domain-specific fine-tuning of open-weight LLMs (LoRA, DPO) and human-in-the-loop multi-agent systems deployed on-premises; (v) AI-driven digital twins and predictive maintenance; and (vi) trustworthy AI and MLOps aligned with the EU AI Act, including explainability, model documentation and monitoring.

Within the project, EXPERANOS will act as a core technology provider and pilot integrator, contributing to system architecture, component development, integration, validation and demonstration activities, and to the exploitation of project results towards European industrial adoption.

FAQ

Frequently asked by coordinators

How do we include EXPERANOS in a Horizon Europe proposal?

Add us in the Funding & Tenders Portal with PIC 885333163 and email info@experanos.eu with the call identifier. We respond within 48 hours with a proposed role, contribution and effort estimate, plus ready-to-use text for Part B.

What size of participation should we plan for?

We scale from focused technical contributions (a single specialised component) to leading technical or pilot work packages. Tell us the budget envelope you have in mind and we will shape a contribution that fits, we prefer honest, well-scoped effort over inflated person-month tables.

Can you join as an affiliated entity, subcontractor or via cascade funding?

Yes. Besides full beneficiary participation we join as affiliated entity, subcontractor for specialised technical tasks, and we apply to FSTP / cascade-funding open calls of ongoing projects.

Which clusters and calls fit you best?

Horizon Europe Clusters 3 (civil security & disaster resilience), 4 (digital & industry, AI, data and robotics), 5 (energy & mobility), 6 (environment & agriculture) and privacy-preserving analytics topics in Cluster 1 (health); plus EIC Pathfinder/Transition and the Digital Europe Programme.

Do you support the proposal-writing phase itself?

Yes, for the sections that concern our contribution: objectives, methodology, task and deliverable descriptions, KPIs, risk tables and the participant profile. We join proposal calls and respond quickly during the final pre-submission sprint.

What happens after the project is funded?

We staff the project with senior engineers (no bait-and-switch), deliver against the agreed milestones, and remain committed to exploitation: our business model is built on carrying high-TRL project outputs into European industrial use.

Deadline approaching? We move fast.
